Academic Outreach Coordinator

Jesus E. Hierro earned his Bachelor of Science at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua Mexico in 1982.

He worked as a Science and Math teacher for 14 years in Chihuahua, Mexico.

In 1990 he earned his Master's degree in higher education in School J. Medrano de Chihuahua México. He took alternative and training courses through CU Bolder, BOCES program, and the School of Mines to enhance his experience in education.

He endorsed his credentials through CDE and began his work as a Science, Math and Spanish teacher at Fort Lupton Middle School in 2001. Currently he holds the position of Academic Outreach Coordinator, Science and Mathematics Teacher for students, who are second language learners, (NEP’s and LEP’s students), He also serves as assistant to the athletic director.

During the past ten years he served as a Fort Lupton Middles School’s boys and girls Soccer coach.

He loves reading, enjoys swimming, fishing, and hiking.
