Greetings to our amazing FLMS Families!
We have come a long way from last August, and this will be our final newsletter for this school year.
I would like to say thank you to parents and students for making sure students were at school and prepared for CMAS testing for three weeks! We’re done with state testing, and I know our students worked their hardest. We will be holding a carnival during school hours to celebrate our students’ amazing effort on this test!
Even though our state CMAS test is over, we still have one more test for students to take. I-Ready testing in language arts and math will take place over the course of the first two weeks of May Students will be testing during their normal class period for tested subjects. I-Ready testing will be over May 10th.
It’s almost time to say goodbye to our 8th grade students as they make their way towards high school. Students in 8th grade will have their last school day on May 22nd. This is when students will clean out their lockers and practice for their continuation ceremony. The continuation ceremony will be held the night of May 22nd at 6:00pm. It will be a bitter sweet evening and we encourage ALL parents and students to attend.
